This post on the Kavanaugh confirmation proceedings is (primarily) directed to my misguided Jewish brothers and sisters, whom I’m afraid, probably constitute the vast majority of the Jewish community.

This charade, with its accusation of an assault which allegedly occurred 38 years ago, is nothing more than a thinly veiled weaponized hit…they might as well have accused him of sexually abusing a child.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but a few points. One, diane feinstein sat on this ‘letter’ for weeks when she had every opportunity to investigate its claims earlier in closed session, when she met with Kavanaugh as he made the rounds of Congress or, at a minimum, at the front-end of the public hearings, not as a ‘hail mary’ at the 11th hour after Kavanaugh had already had to answer more written questions that all other nominees combined and sat through days of committee hearings.

I have also read that judge Kavanaugh passed SIX prior fbi background checks. SIX! This allegation was never raised when he was nominated to serve as a Federal judge or when he worked in the administration of george w. bush. Gee, I wonder why.

Our country was founded on the premise that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. There is a process for an allegation’s veracity to be examined and its truthfulness, or otherwise, determined. That process includes DUE PROCESS with an opportunity to cross-examine one’s accuser. Thus far, said accuser is now in ‘hiding’ due to ‘threats’ and, therefore, will not be attending the hearing Monday which was created to give her a chance to explain her accusations, under oath I would presume, before the committee in person…what a surprise.

I would like to remind the Jewish community that there was once an artillery captain in the French army by the name of Alfred Dreyfus. He was the highest-ranking Jew in the army UNTIL a FALSE ACCUSATION of dual-loyalty and being a traitor to his country were made “and in 1894 he was convicted of treason and imprisoned on the notorious Devil's Island. The conviction was based on documents which were found in the waste-paper basket of [an] military attaché.” They were later disproved but the damage had been done.

I’m no expert on the history, but the ‘Dryfus Affair’ is regarded as having been a great injustice done to a great patriot. There are some who believe the charges were accurate. Regardless, the incident, like the Kavanaugh accusation, was designed as a character assassination and with its underlying accusations geared to resonate with the basest instincts of the population. Jews should recognize and be sensitive to this tactic and be on the front lines pushing against it.

Enough is enough! What is happening to judge Kavanaugh is disgraceful and a threat by the left (and cabal), to destroy the integrity of our great American institutions. As a Jew I am horrified that another Jew, Mrs. feinstein, would be the torch-bearer for this utterly shameful and dangerous episode and it is my sincerest hope that should this allegation somehow be disproved, anyone and everyone involved in bringing it, be charged with the most severe crimes our system of law provides, and if convicted, hopefully serve very lengthy prison sentences.
