Had to go take care of some business in town today and had a little wait time in their lobby. The tv was on Megyn Kelly and a woman I'd never seen (later to be known as Savannah Guthrie). They were speaking about the liar…uh, uh, I mean…professor who claimed Kavanaugh tried to rape her. CURIOUSLY, although they gave the proper Left deference to her claim, they BOTH had a dubious tone in wondering why she was refusing to testify when, and I'm paraphrasing, "the Republicans had been willing to hear her out." They said very little about Kav, just focused on the woman and the implication seemed to be the woman was suspicious, not the judge.

This is a narrative shift. It was subtle, but unmistakable. Guthrie and Kelly /ours/?
