HR fuckery at PECO & Exelon (dig cont'd)

 

Accelerated Workforce diversification (AWD)

Was a "tier one" goal for all Vice Presidents (I.e all have portion of bonus at risk if AWD goals are not meet for department)

 

Exelon only program–no other company has the program (The initiative was created by Diversity department at Exelon).

AWD has no overlap with AAP goals.

 

AWD had goal to increase total workforce diversity by 7% over 5 years for all of Exelon. (not based on any local demographic data or existing diversity of the workforce).

Applies to all jobs at all of Exelon

 

Tracked and reported monthly by HR Department

 

Any minority (including non-protected) and/or women hired helped in meeting the AWD goal . Note 1. only the hiring of white male/s was excluded from the AWD goal.

AWD was introduced by diversity department to all Exelon HR employees via mandatory webinar in the late summer of 2015.

Was implemented in 2016.

Every position has the goal associated with it
