Papadopoulos: London Meeting With Aussie Diplomat Apparently Part of 'Setup' to Cause Trump Probe

Former Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos told Martha MacCallum on "The Story" that it increasingly evident he was "set up" through a series of foreign meetings in order to create a pretext for a U.S. probe into alleged Russian collusion.

Papadopoulos was sentenced to 14 days in prison in connection to the Mueller probe, but also posted a cryptic tweet reading "there is a lot to come."

Papadopoulos had met abroad with Joseph Mifsud, a shadowy professor from Malta, who told him the Russians had thousands of Hillary Clinton's emails.

He said that he was later "lured" to a meeting in London with Australian diplomatic official Alexander Downer. Trace Gallagher reported that Papadopoulos told Downer the Russians may have compromising information on Clinton.

Papadopoulos told MacCallum that in hindsight, the meetings with officials prior to Downer seem "incredibly suspicious."

He said the meeting with Downer at a bar seemed "completely controlled" and that it was not a simple offer by the Aussie for the American to "invite me for a drink."

May Govt Says ‘Pro-Brexit’ MPs Must Back ‘Soft’ Brexit or Face Second Referendum

A senior member of Theresa May’s government has threatened “pro-Brexit” MPs, saying that unless the Prime Minister’s plan for a “soft” exit from the bloc is supported in Parliament, there will be a second referendum.

Financial Secretary to the Treasury Melvyn Stride (pictured, right) also implied his government could make further concessions to the bloc, saying they will “get a deal based around Chequers” on Sky News Wednesday.

The Chequers plan already proposes the UK follows all the bloc’s rules on goods, severely restricting the ability to control trade policy, and meaning the UK has to accept rules with no role in making them.

The “right of the party, the pro-Brexit wing,” Mr Stride said, “will be very concerned we’ll end up where we could have a second referendum or we could end up not leaving the EU altogether, so there is a danger of that happening if Chequers does not prevail.”

His senior, the Chancellor and head of the Treasury, is Phillip Hammond (pictured, left), who has been a fierce opponent of Brexit and continues to push for the UK to remain locked in the EU’s Single Market.

However, Mr Stride also threatened those who are against Brexit altogether, saying they must back Mrs May’s plan or there could be a clean, full exit from the EU.

“I think those on the other end of the spectrum will equally be very concerned that if Chequers does not prevail, we could end up in a ‘no deal’ situation,” he added.

Responding to similar threats Monday, UKIP’s leader Gerard Batten commented: “After a summer of dripping Project Fear 2.0 into the public’s ears, Mrs May has put down an in or out option.

“UKIP has always said that no deal, which is really reverting to WTO terms, is better than a bad deal with the EU.

“Mrs May’s deal, whatever the particulars, will not be what the British people voted for on June 23rd, 2016, it will be Brexit in name only.

“I call on all Leave MPs to reject the flimsy agreement Mrs May is putting together and support a full unencumbered exit from the EU under World Trade Organisation rules.”

The threats from Mrs May’s government come as European Council President Donald Tusk warns the Chequers planed needs a “rework” ahead on a crunch meeting in Salzburg Wednesday night.

“On the Irish question and the framework for economic cooperation the UK’s proposal needs to be reworked,” he told a news conference Wednesday.

Sacking of German Domestic Intelligence Chief Punishment for Truth - Analysts

BRUSSELS (Sputnik) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s decision to sack domestic intelligence chief and security expert Hans-Georg Maassen was a punishment designed to hide the "truth" about risks of uncontrolled immigration, lawmakers and political commentators told Sputnik.

Maassen was removed from his job at the helm of the Federal Office for Constitutional Protection (BfV) on Tuesday after suggesting that a viral video apparently showing foreigners being hounded by far-right protesters in the city of Chemnitz might have been fake.

Maassen’s sacking was demanded by Merkel’s coalition partners in the Social Democrat Party. He was eventually given a higher position of a state secretary under Interior Minister Horst Seehofer, a known critic of the chancellor’s migration policy.

"The political decision of punishing Mr. Maassen is unacceptable and spreading fake news about non-existent aggression in the city of Chemnitz is a cheap trick by the federal government to hide the worsening security situation in Germany," Joerg Meuthen, federal spokesman for the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, told Sputnik.

Poland Offers US $2 Billion to Establish a Permanent Military Base

Visiting the White House on Tuesday, Polish President Andrzej Duda reiterated Poland’s offer to pay $2 billion to the US if President Trump establishes a permanent military base inside Poland. Duda argues it is needed as a bulwark against Russia.

This is not a new offer, though Duda’s visit gives it a lot more attention. Polish Defense Ministry officials announced the offer back in May, saying they want a US armored division and are willing to defray some of the construction costs of the base.

In reality, the cost putting a US armored base in Poland on a permanent basis is going to be several hundred million dollars per year, and while Poland’s cash may make the initial move into the country cheaper, it will quickly be another costly mission for the US with no end in sight.

Duda appears to be aware that there is limited interest in this proposal right now, and is trying to appeal to President Trump’s vanity by suggesting the base be called Fort Trump. Trump has been feted on previous trips to Poland, and has said he is “considering” the proposal.

According to the World Health Organization, the United States is one of the most depressed countries in the world, with one in five adults experiencing some form of mental health issue each year. While some of the millions of people diagnosed with these conditions seek therapy to cope with their problems, the vast majority are simply handed prescriptions for antidepressant and other psychiatric drugs and sent on their way.

Sadly, more and more children are being swept up in this net of chemical medications. CCHR, the international mental health watchdog organization, warns that over 7 million children under the age of 17 are already on some form of psychiatric medication, including over 2 million on antidepressants, 1.2 million on antipsychotics, and 1.4 million on anti-anxiety medications.

And those numbers are sure to grow astronomically, if a new program being implemented in Washington State takes off nationally. Several King County school districts in that state will shortly be introducing mandatory screenings to establish mental health and substance abuse risk factors in seventh grade students. And that will provide a whole new batch of “patients” for Big Pharma to sell psychiatric drugs to.

UK social services are taking away record numbers of kids…leaving parents terrified

UNITED KINGDOM, September 18, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Having your children taken away by the state is one of a mom’s or dad’s worst nightmares. Unfortunately, this happens to thousands of parents in the United Kingdom every year–and not always with good cause.

According to the UK Sun, the number of children ripped from their parents through “forced care orders” rose from 7, 550 to 10, 130 in 2017: an increase of 34%. When you factor in children taken away with the parents’ say-so, the number rises to 32,810.

Anyone who reads the British newspapers or women’s magazines knows stories about children who were taken away because social workers wrongly accused the parents of abuse. One of the best known is that of Jill Goss, whose daughter Alyssa was taken from her when she was 10 weeks old.

Having seen a swelling on her daughter’s arm, Jill took Alyssa to the hospital. Doctors found tiny fractures they said could have been caused by the Vitamin D deficiency for which the baby was already being treated–but Jill was arrested all the same. Although the charges against Jill were dropped, Alyssa was taken from her and given away in adoption. When she became pregnant with her son, Jill fled to Spain. She says social workers threatened to take her baby when he was born.

There are also stories of children being taken from parents because they are overweight, or don’t brush their teeth, or even allegedly because they were not taken out for an ice-cream cone on one occasion. There’s the story of the Courtnages, parents who lost both their sons after the mother took her youngest to the hospital: he had a swelling on his head. Two doctors suggested it was a fissure, a third thought it was a fracture. The parents were not charged or convicted of any crime–but both boys were taken away and adopted by others.

Even some justices think social workers are too quick to remove kids. This past June, judge Sir Andrew McFarlane , the President of the Family Division, said that the courts were seeing too many cases that were not serious enough to excuse taking children from parents.

“It may properly be said that we have reached a stage where the threshold for obtaining a public law court order is noticeably low, whereas, no doubt as a result of the current financial climate, the threshold for a family being able to access specialist support services in the community is conversely, very high,” he said.

But it’s not just poor families that are at risk of having their children taken by the state. Jill Goss is a hairdresser. The Courtnages were an engineer and an accountant when their sons were taken. Now they run a charity for parents of other “forced adopted” children. The theft of children by the state is something that could happen to any parent in the UK, and thus something for all UK parents to worry about.

Jones squeaked out a win against Judge Roy Moore for the seat earlier this year after Democrats ran unproven allegations against the Alabama judge.

On Wednesday Jones called for a delay in the Kavanaugh vote and an FBI investigation into the 36-year-old ever-changing allegations by an anti-Trump activist against Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

The End of Education

The 19th century legacy of Horace Mann and his influence on public school education is still being debated. His intentions were noble and his argument for civics and citizen-making as a function of democratic schooling had much to recommend it. But opening the public schools to government control has proven to be a Pandora’s Box of incurable ills. There can be little doubt that its latest manifestation, Common Core, is nothing short of a recipe for the uniform and partisan dumbing down of the current generation.

A figure no less significant and undeniably harmful in his widespread influence on public education is the Leftist social thinker John Dewey, especially in Democracy and Education. It has taken a hundred years to ruin American education, dating from Dewey’s so-called child-centered and “progressive” revolution in American public pedagogy in the early 1920s, through the turbulent 1960s during which empowered student radicals took over the universities, on to the self-esteem movement that flattered the student into believing that self-love was more crucial than self-improvement, to the present moment in which both public and university education has traded honest teaching, academic rigor and merit-based instruction for social justice, politically correct groupthink, anti-white and anti-Western passions, feminist madness and left-wing partisanship.

In The End of Education, published some twenty years ago, Neil Postman mounts a multi-pronged attack on the failures of the education machine, dethroning the idols of “Economic Utility, Consumership, and Technology.” One may or may not agree with his argument, which appears somewhat dated in the present environment. But he is certainly on target in exploding the fetish of “Tribalism and Separatism” as gods in the pantheon of Multiculturalism. He cites Arthur Schlesinger Jr.’s 1991 tour de force The Disuniting of America: Reflections on a Multicultural Society (a must-read), which partially skewers “our reversion to undiluted tribalism” and the ulcer of identity politics. Following Mann, Postman’s main point is that teachers and students need “a narrative to provide profound meaning to their lessons.” Unfortunately, the narrative currently in play is “a terrible story” advancing the “frightening” thesis that “evil inheres in white people … of European origin [and] Goodness inheres in nonwhites,” among many other reductions of our Judeo-Christian heritage. What is called “emancipatory knowledge” – an alias for Social Justice gospel – must replace “Eurocentric knowledge.”

A representative sample of high school teaching and curricula will serve to underscore the dilemma. In a forceful article for PJ Media, Megan Fox points out that, far from learning anything useful, students are likely to be subjected to ideologically driven praxis (a term teachers are fond of), including “gender-neutral pronouns, discussions of sexuality, and anti-white propaganda.”

We might say that students have been thrown under the syllabus, which stresses the factoid that white people, men, heterosexuals, Christians, natural born citizens and English speakers are targeting other races, females, LGBT folks, non-Christians, immigrants and non-native speakers. Students are separated “into tribal groups pitted against one another for chief victim status.” The crowning indignity is that students are asked to take a confidentiality oath, in other words, they are urged not to let their parents know what is taking place in this pestilential environment. Such lessons in perfidy should “not be shared outside the group.”

‘Emotional And Physical Abuse’: Ellison Accuser Posts Doctor’s Report Naming Congressman As Alleged Abuser

DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison’s ex-girlfriend published a medical document showing she told her doctor in 2017 about “emotional and physical abuse” from Ellison

The doctor’s report said Monahan feared “retribution” if she spoke out against Ellison

Ellison is running for Minnesota attorney general with the Democratic Party’s support

The ex-girlfriend accusing Democratic Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison of domestic abuse told her doctor in 2017 about alleged “emotional and physical abuse” from Ellison, according to a document the woman published Wednesday.

Karen Monahan’s account in the doctor’s report is consistent with what she has been saying publicly since August: that Ellison was emotionally and physically abusive to her while the two were dating.

Ellison is the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and is the Democratic nominee for Minnesota attorney general. He has adamantly denied emotionally or physically abusing Monahan. (RELATED: Ellison To Accuser: ‘We Don’t Have To Destroy Each Other’)

“She states that she was in a very stressful environment for years, emotional and physical abuse by a partner with whom she is now separated,” reads the November 2017 report, a picture of which Monahan posted on Twitter.

“She did not have any physical injuries that required an examination in the past. She identifies the individual she was involved with as congressman Ellison, and she is worried about retribution if she identifies him publicly,” the report states.

Ellison’s congressional office did not immediately return a request for comment.

The Democratic Party has maintained its support for Ellison’s attorney general campaign despite the allegations. DNC Chair Tom Perez previously said the committee was “reviewing” the allegations.

Perez later deferred to an investigation by the party’s Minnesota arm, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL), which endorsed Ellison’s campaign in spite of Monahan’s allegations.

Monahan wrote Wednesday that Ellison declined any meeting with her as part of the investigation.

“I told the investigator I would be happy to talk with @keithellison [with] them in the room. They asked Keith if he would be willing [and] he declined any meeting [with] me,” she wrote.

Monahan’s son Austin Aslim Monahan first aired the allegations against Ellison on Aug. 11 and claimed to have seen evidence of Ellison’s abuse.

“I was using my moms computer trying to download something and I clicked on a file, I found over 100 text and twitters messages and video almost 2 min long that showed Keith Ellison dragging my mama off the bed by her feet, screaming and calling her a ‘fucking bitch’ and telling her to get the fuck out of his house,” he wrote in a viral Facebook post.

Monahan’s son added:

Sitting all this time, watching what our mom went through and not being able to say or do anything was hard as hell. None of you know the hell our family has gone through. I don’t think half of you would even care. We watched her so called political friends stand by say or do nothing. People had an idea what happened and never reached out to my mom. The same people who are posting about social justice are ready to smear my mom, protect a person who abused her and broke the law.

Monahan has yet to produce the alleged video, which Ellison has said doesn’t exist.

Norway Officials Admit They Knew Nothing About Libya But Joined Regime Change Efforts Anyway

A new official report produced by the Norwegian government illustrates the continuing absurdity of NATO expansion and foreign adventurism in places very far away from the “North Atlantic” explicit in the name North Atlantic Treaty Organization — places like Afghanistan, Libya, Ukraine or Syria.

Top Norwegian officials have now admitted they “had very limited knowledge” of events unfolding in Libya during 2010 and 2011, prior to NATO’s military intervention on behalf of anti-Gaddafi rebels — a war that resulted in regime change and a failed state ruled by competing governments and extremist militias to this day. Norway enthusiastically joined the US, UK, and French led bombing of the country initiated in March 2011 even knowing full well its military knew next to nothing of what was unfolding on the ground.

But what did decision-makers have to go on? Consider this absurd admission from the official report: “In such situations, decision-makers often rely on information from media and other countries,” the report reads.

Pakistani Court Orders Release of Jailed Ex-PM Nawaz Sharif, His Daughter

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz were convicted by the apex court after his family was found to be linked to offshore companies named in the Panama Papers released in 2015.

Nawaz Sharif and his daughter are set to be released after the Islamabad High Court suspended their prison term in a corruption case. The two were convicted in July this year, shortly before the general elections in Pakistan.

A two-judge bench of the Islamabad High Court suspended the 10-year jail sentence after hearing an appeal by Sharif denying any wrongdoing by him and his daughter in an illegal properties case that surfaced from the Panama Papers investigation. Sharif alleged that his arrest and conviction were politically motivated.

Judge orders a redo of Georgia primary election after ballot misallocation confirmed

A Georgia judge on Tuesday ordered a Georgia legislative district to redo its Republican primary election, citing ballot errors that could have impacted the vote tallies, CNN reported.

What happened?

State Rep. Dan Gasaway (R) filed a lawsuit following his slim loss to challenger Chris Erwin (R) in the District 28 primary in May. Gasaway said he found evidence that officials bungled the election.

“We’ve signed under oath that we knew more than 80 citizens that voted Republican in the election got the wrong ballot,” he told WNEG-FM.

Gasaway lost by 67 votes. Officials reportedly confirmed that 70 voters in District 28 were mistakenly given ballots from another district and were unable to cast a vote for either Gasaway or Erwin.

Banks County Judge David Sweat determined that a new election was required due to the misallocated ballots.

“The court’s real concern is that people have confidence in our elections,” he said.

In reaction to the ruling, Gasaway told Newsweek he was relieved.

“I didn’t do this just for me. This job is not a high-paying job,” he said. “But if votes aren’t counted right, that should concern everybody in our country, everybody in our state, and everybody in our counties.

“Votes should be counted right,” he continued. “There’s no reason for things like this to happen with the technologies we have.”

Erwin also weighed in on the decision.

“We felt we proved our case. We won the election originally,” he said. “There were less than 67 votes. We presented those numbers to the judge. And obviously we’re going to go home tonight, we’re going to sleep on it, come back tomorrow. We’ll talk and look and see if we need to appeal.”

In a separate case, U.S. District Court Judge Amy Totenberg ruled Monday that despite security concerns, the state of Georgia would be allowed to continue using touchscreen voting machines without a paper trail.

Georgia voters and security advocates had filed the suit last year, arguing that the electronic system could be compromised by Russian hackers.

Totenberg slammed the state’s election officials, saying they had “buried their heads in the sand” with regard to ensuring election integrity.

“The Court is very concerned about the State’s pace in responding to the serious vulnerabilities of its voting system,” Totenberg ruled.

Still, the judge decided switching to paper ballots in time for early voting on Oct. 15 would “swamp the polls with work and voters.”

“There is nothing like bureaucratic confusion and long lines to sour a citizen,” she said.

NFL greats demand lifetime salaries, health insurance in blistering threat to boycott Hall of Fame

A group of Pro Football Hall of Famers threatened the NFL on Tuesday, sending a scathing letter to the league where they demanded a lifetime salary and health insurance for all inductees. Until their demands are met, the letter states, the signees will boycott the annual induction ceremony.

What does the letter say?

The letter states, “As a group we are struggling with severe health and financial problems. To build this game, we sacrificed our bodies. In many cases, and despite the fact that we were led to believe otherwise, we sacrificed our minds. We believe we deserve more. We write to demand two things: Health insurance and an annual salary for all Hall of Famers that includes a share of league revenue.”

The signees go on to make their case, saying, “It might seem like a lot, but it’s a drop in the bucket for the country’s most profitable sports league.”

The letter then points to the disparity between how NFL Hall of Famers are treated in comparison to retired baseball players.

“The mistreatment of NFL Hall of Famers, who are often exploited as unpaid ambassadors of the sport, contrasts with how Major League Baseball treats its former players,” the letter states. “A baseball player who has appeared on a Major League roster for one day is entitled to health insurance for the rest of his life. A player employed on a roster for 43 days gets a lifelong pension.”

After stating that the signees would not attend the annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony until their demands are met, the letter added, “To be clear, we don’t want our efforts to detract from the latest announcement of Hall of Fame nominees, men we are proud to call brothers.”

Did all the signees agree with this letter?

The letter is signed by Eric Dickerson, chairman of the Hall of Fame Board, and lists board members including Marcus Allen, Joe Namath, Marshall Faulk, Jerry Rice, Deion Sanders and Kurt Warner.

But apparently not all of the signees listed on the letter gave the go-ahead to be included.

Kurt Warner tweeted out a statement after the letter was released, saying that he “was not made aware of this letter and [his] name was mistakenly attached to it.”

Circumventing no contact? Nicki Clyne starts up mirror Instagram – is it being used to communicate with NXIVM members?

Since Keith Raniere was arrested in March, some of the top people in NXIVM either shut down, made private or ceased uploads to social media.

However, at least one of NXIVM’s elite started up a mirror or alter ego account – quite possibly to continue communicating with NXIVM members.

While looking through Dr. Brandon Porter’s Instagram account Shadow State discovered that Porter was following someone called “CLICKY NINE”.

Not Nicki Clyne, mind you – but Clicky Nine.

The name of the account is called “fiendsandframily.” That’s ‘fiends” not “friends,” and “framily” not “family.”

It is a private account, but perhaps the FBI might be interested in knowing what Clicky is communicating and who her fellow fiends and framily are.

Clicky nine’s motto is, “clicky nine – in the absence of ego, there is only alter”.

So far Clicky has made 59 posts, has 108 followers and is following 173

With 108 followers – she seems to have somewhere around half of the estimated remaining members of NXIVM.

Clyne, one of the top leaders of DOS, is reportedly in charge of operations now that her spouse, Allison Mack, is barred from running DOS as a condition of her bail.

It is not known if Allison Mack – also potentially posting under some sort of disguised alter ego on social media – or through her mother – or others not officially known to be members of NXIVM – is in contact with “Clicky Nine” and whether she can pretend to have some sort of plausible deniability based on it not being Nicki Clyne but Clicky Nine etc. and the people communicating with Clicky are not actually her.

Nicki Clyne has not been charged with any crimes related to NXIVM or DOS despite her being a top slave master and having retained a criminal defense lawyer.

Not having been charged, Clyne is under no restrictions concerning contacting NXIVM members.

But NXIVM leaders Clare Bronfman, Allison Mack, Lauren Salzman, and Nancy Salzman and [hapless] low level [fall girl] bookkeeper Kathy Russell are all barred from communicating with Clyne and others on the Stripe Path.

Normally one would think it to be extremely stupid for NXIVM member Clyne to try to communicate with indicted members who face jail if they violate court ordered conditions of bail.

But stupidity runs in the ‘framily” of NXIVM.

In fact it was Clyne’s public Instagram account showing her climbing trees that led the Frank Report to reveal that she was in Puerto Vallarta – after Raniere fled Monterrey.

The Frank Report publishing this may have led authorities to her locale for it did not take them long after to find and arrest the Vanguard at a certain $10,000 per week villa owned in part reportedly by one of Vanguard’s followers, Jack Levy.

FALSE FLAG! Ukrainian Troops Shelled their Own Positions Prior to Arrival of OSCE Observers

Ukrainian fighters, on the eve of a visit to the Lugansk People’s Republic, by the first deputy head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (HMM), Aleksandr Huga, staged a false flag attack on their own positions, which were then blamed on the People’s Militia of the LPR. This was reported by the official representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko.

Earlier, the command of the so-called “operation of the united forces” accused the People’s Militia of shelling areas of the Crimean and Lugansk settlements under the control of Kiev.

Marochko noted that the practice of false accusations of LPR servicemen by the Ukrainian side “has long acquired a systematic character.”
