In my notebook I wrote down that yesterday, 9/18, was the deadline to replace Rachel Brand. Does it simply happen by default according to the rules of succession for the DoJ? I kind of thought there would be some kind of presidential announcement… Stealth replacement? Or maybe the date I had written down was not correct? (Is it supposed to be 210 days after Brand departed??)
