What is seditious about requesting the FBI and DOJ inform the gang of 8? Remember that congress has oversight over the executive branch. It is also a request. Not a demand. No subpoena was issued, and the request will be denied, legally.

The gang of 8 has no authority, and will denied their REQUEST. Not every executive order is constitutional, therefore can be challenging by any committee with oversight. The gang of 8 is no such committee, yet putting a request into the DOJ for a briefing does not constitute seditious conspiracy. The DOJ regularly briefs the completely powerless gang of 8. This is routine political maneuvering, not sedition.

The word sedition is being thrown around way too much on this board. Not evey question on the powers of the president is seditious conspiracy. It is natural. I will never defend sedition, nor do I defend 4 of the gang of 8 members request to be briefed before the EO can be implemented. It is a political ploy on paper that carries no weight or power and is worth nothing. It is paper with words on it. Not seditious conspiracy. With all that being said, you must be really angry that they are n ot in jail right now, if what you believe is true. So why are they not in jail? Why aren't they being called out for sedition?
