The back half of the lunar sphere is illuminated (i.e., the side facing the sun, which you can see had set in the lower left of the photo).
A crescent sliver of that illuminated half is visible from your perspective.
A large portion of the half of the moon that is not receiving direct sunlight is visible from your perspective.
That half of the moon is slightly illuminated by "earthshine" – i.e., indirect sunlight bouncing off the earth and back.
What exactly is your question?
Understand two things:
1) Your cell phone is operating on a commercial network intended to maximize profit per user. Believe it or not, your carrier doesn't consider your calls to be mission-critical.
2) Terrestrial radio transmissions do tend to drop off in terms of power when they go through hundreds of miles of atmosphere. Earth's atmosphere is technically about 300 miles thick, but the vast majority of it is within 10 miles of the surface. The moon has none.
Looks like you're in the wrong place, then, anon. If elite servitude is your thing, the world is your oyster. No need to come to 8chan and commiserate with ornery patriots.
