The new "witness" who claimed she heard about it when it occurred, but didn't have any first hand knowledge, is full of shit.
First of all, she was an upperclassman and rarely do they know who the underclassmen are. Secondly, Christine Ford said she told no one. So how was this rumor going around school? If Kavanaugh did do it, do you think he would have been sharing the story with Christine painted as the victim and he the villain. Of course not.
This was put out there so there was collaboration(sort of) yet wouldn't be required to testify because no first hand knowledge. Purely for optics. The whole thing stinks and makes me sick people can trash a person's reputation with no consequences!
