>Anything sketchy about Montessori schools? Are they child abuse centers?

>They are great actually, sort of un-schooling before it was a "thing". Mom still remembers the trinomial cube I solved at age 3 1/2.
>Regular daycare centers… that's another matter And then again, predators will gravitate to positions where they have access to children. Vigilance always.
I AGREE
Can't speak for all Montessori schools, but my son goes to one and we believe it is far better than the PUBLIC schools. We have always had close ties to his teachers, who have been great. It is probably the closest form of education to being home schooled.
Having said that, I am becoming more concerned about their overall philosophy regarding globalism. For example, my son did tell us that his six grade teacher recently showed the class a video hosted by one of the Harry Potter movie actors (female) and because he has overheard his Mom and I talk about the UN as a dangerous globalist governance system, he wanted to know more. He wanted me to show him specific evidence. So, just as one example, I showed him how they were complicit in reintroducing cholera to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. By dumping their raw sewage into the main river upstream from the highest population centers they managed to infect 600,000, of which 10,000 (mostly children) died as a consequence. That convinced him!
