Syrian War Report – September 21, 2018: Threat Of Staged Chemical Weapons Attack In Idlib Remains

Jaysh al-Izza, one of the biggest Free Syrian Army groups in northwestern Syria has welcomed an implementation of the de-escalation zone agreement in Idlib, which was reached by Turkey and Russia earlier this month, the pro-opposition media outlet Enab Baladi reported on August 20. In a released statement, the group also thanked to Turkey for preventing a military operation by the Syrian Army and its allies in the province of Idlib and nearby areas. Jaysh al-Izza, which operates in northwestern and northern Hama, is widely known for being one of the key allies of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda). This may be an indication that Turkey has enough influence and willingness on militant groups in the area to force them to obey the demilitarized zone agreement, which is set to be fully imposed by October 20. However, the situation remains complicated.

Kosovo to Israel: Recognize Us, Get Another Embassy in Jerusalem

Kosovo’s president, Hashim Thaci, told the media on Thursday that if Israel recognized the Balkan secessionist state, he’d place its embassy in Jerusalem, an apparent offer of a tit-for-tat trade to bolster the legitimacy of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and Kosovo as a legitimate state on the international stage.

Hefty portions of the world still do not recognize Kosovo as a state a decade since its unilateral declaration of independence from Serbia in February 2008 — 117 of the world's nearly 200 countries recognize independent Kosovo. When it comes to international bodies, however, Kosovo fares a bit better. Roughly 58 percent of countries in the United Nations (111), 82 percent of European Union members (23) and 86 percent of NATO member states (25) recognize Kosovo.

Serbia remains on speaking terms with Kosovo after relations were partially normalized with the 2013 "Brussels Agreement," although neither party ever signed the document. President Thaci himself took part in those talks. The Russian Federation considers Kosovo's breakaway to be illegal.

"Kosovo is not an independent state, either de facto or de jure. It was separated from Serbia following the illegal 1999 NATO bombing [of Yugoslavia] and declared independent in 2008 in violation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1244," columnist Nebojsa Malic told Sputnik News. The resolution placed Kosovo under the administration of the United Nations while it was still a part of Serbia.

"While the ethnic Albanian authorities in Pristina like to pretend they are independent, the US ambassador there makes sure they do exactly as told at all times," Malic said.

As of the last report, Allen is being held on $10,000 bail at the Albany County jail on 29 counts of child endangerment, a misdemeanor.

The mental health office plans to fire him.

Allen was reportedly earning $132,054.

Georgia Police Seize Drugs Disguised as Candy

Georgia police are warning about what may look like colorful candy, but could be the dangerous and illicit drug ecstasy.

On Sept. 8 police in Duluth seized bags of ecstasy pills that look like candy for children, and are concerned the dealers marketed and sold the drugs to local youth, Fox5 reported.

Officers made the bust after someone called 911 over a dog in a hot car. Smelling marijuana, deputies searched the car and found over 2 pounds of ecstasy in the form of colorful candy.

Drug enforcement agents told Fox5 reporters that drug dealers purposely make ecstasy or its other form “Molly” to resemble candy in order to make it attractive to teenagers and to make it easier to hide from the watchful eyes of parents.

“If you saw kids have that, would you even think twice?” a reporter can be heard asking an unnamed young woman featured in the video.

“No, I wouldn’t, I would think it’s candy,” the woman replies.

Agents said the pills are sold on the street for between $10 and $20 each, putting the value of the bust at between $10,000 and $15,000.

Duluth police believe dealers may have tried to sell these pills to the youth in the metro. Officers arrested 27-year-old Terrell Magbie on charges of trafficking ecstasy, and 39-year-old Shameeka Hires was cited on possession of marijuana.

Parents need to be vigilant about what appears to be candy, Duluth police warn, could in fact be drugs in disguise.

Earlier Friday, The New York Times reported Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein last year spoke with DOJ and FBI officials about wearing a wire and secretly recording President Trump to be able to build a case that Trump is unfit to hold office.

The New York Times report on Rosenstein’s plot to oust Trump from office cited then-Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s memos as a source.

Shortly after the New York Times released its report, Andrew McCabe made a statement through his lawyer Michael Bromwich–he did not deny The NY Times report.

“Andrew McCabe drafted memos to memorialize significant discussions he had with some high level officials and preserved them so he would have an accurate contemporaneous record of those discussions. When he was interviewed by the Special Counsel more than a year ago, he gave all of his memos — classified and unclassified — to the Special Counsel’s office,” Michael Bromwich said in an email.

“A set of those memos remained at the FBI at the time of his departure in late January 2018. He has no knowledge of how any mention of the media obtained those memos,” Bromwich added.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein immediately denied the claims in the New York Times report.

“The New York Times’s story is inaccurate and factually incorrect,” he said in a statement. “I will not further comment on a story based on anonymous sources who are obviously biased against the department and are advancing their own personal agenda. But let me be clear about this: Based on my personal dealings with the president, there is no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment.”

Rod Rosenstein signed the June 2017 Carter Page FISA renewal app just one month after he appointed Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate Trump-Russia.

Border Patrol Agents in Texas Town Apprehend 300 Migrants in One Day

Border Patrol officials in the Rio Grande Valley Sector say they are being “inundated” with large groups of migrant families and unaccompanied minors. In one day, they apprehended nearly 3o0 in a small border area near Granjeno, Texas.

McAllen Station agents working routine patrols between Granjeno and the Rio Grande River encountered a group of 170 migrants early Wednesday morning. The migrants were smuggled across the river on rafts or other small boats and assembled as a group to turn themselves in to authorities. Border Patrol agents found them shortly after midnight on Wednesday, according to Rio Grande Valley Sector officials.

The agents called for backup to help process the large group of Central American families and unaccompanied children.

Officials reported that human smugglers used this group of migrants as a distraction so that they could move other groups intending to evade apprehension.

Later that afternoon, McAllen Station agents working in the same area arrested 107 additional migrants in a single incident. The migrants turned themselves in to the first Border Patrol agents they could find.

Rio Grande Valley Sector officials said the 284 will be processed in accordance with sector guidelines.

The August Southwest Border Migration Report recently released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials revealed that agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector apprehended 16,752 migrants in one month. Of those, the agency reported the apprehension of 7,094 family units and 2,234 unaccompanied minors.

Transgender Recruiting Plans Include Your Kids

Ryan T. Anderson, the author of ‘When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment’, gave a speech last week at Catholic University of America.

It was all very dignified and featured a walking–on–eggshells atmosphere. Yet under Anderson’s proper and decorous message was a stark warning for parents: Gender Red Guards are seizing the curriculum in government schools and they are coming for your kids.

Or as Anderson has tweeted, “transgenderism is a belief system that increasingly looks like a cultish religion…being forced on the public by the state.”

“Today the focus [of transgenderism] tends to be on children,” Anderson warns. There are already 45 clinics that specialize in children and essentially function as recruitment depots.

“The standard of care is self–reinforcing” in a children’s gender jumble clinic. These clinics make sure that once a child has expressed even the most tentative misgivings regarding their “assigned gender” the staff makes sure there is no backsliding on the part of the child or the parents.

Left to their own devices 80 to 95 percent of the boys and girls who are gender–confused will happily revert to their gender before they become adults. Transgenderists can’t tolerate that level of attrition. A movement to normalize the abnormal can’t succeed if the numbers remain just a miniscule fringe of the total population.

These children’s clinics are a sexual Checkpoint Charlie. Once the child crosses over he’s behind the Berlin Gender Wall, never to be allowed to return.

In consequence of the alleged manipulation of new and opinions during the 2016 election, Congress threatened to regulate social media. It demanded testimony by the owners of social media companies - Facebook, Twitter and Google - about their plans to weed out so called "fake news" distributed through their systems. Instead of defending the freedom of individuals and organizations to publish opinions deviating from the mainstream, the companies promised to increase their censorship capabilities. To avoid to make judgments themselves, they decided to outsource these to 'independent' fact checking organizations. Anything those deem "fake news" will then be censored.

Facebook Inc just gave such powers to two well known U.S. government regime change operators. These will now have the capabilities to censor content in foreign countries:

Alleged Video of Idlib Chemical Attack Fabrication Released by Syrian Media

Syrian Arab News Agency has released a footage of an alleged chemical attack fabrication in Syrian city of Idlib.

A video reportedly depicting a chemical attack fabrication in Syria's Idlib has been released by the Syrian Arab News Agency. The agency said that the footage depicts "White Helmets" group staging an attack in order to accuse the government forces of chemical weapons use.

The video was removed from YouTube for violation of terms of service shortly after it was published. It was also posted by other users, however.

The city of Idlib is the last remaining stronghold of anti-government insurgents and al-Qaeda-linked terror groups in Syria.

The situation in the province has been tense amid reports on terrorists preparing a false-flag chemical attack against civilians, set to provoke western nations into launching a military action against the Syrian government. Previous week, member of the Syrian parliament Ahmad Kuzbari told Sputnik that the White Helmets and militants in Syria's Idlib were planning to film a false flag chemical attack in an attempt to mar the Syrian government.

Australian Politician Tries To Prove Gender Wage Gap As Discrimination By Comparing THESE Two Jobs

An Australian politician thought she had the perfect way to prove that discrimination was the cause of the gender “wage” gap, but her attempt fell flat on its face. (Side note: It’s actually an earnings gap because it is not actually comparing what men and women are actually paid, but what they earn at the end of the year — which is different due to a variety of factors including career choice, hours worked, time off, etc.)

Tanya Plibersek, deputy leader of the Australian Labor Party, tweeted a clip of herself discussing early childhood educators and the important role they have on child development (though she doesn’t mention parents’ roles). It’s true that science has found the early months and years of a child’s life are critically important for their development, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the people involved in their lives at that time need difficult or expensive education and training. Parents tend to take on that role and we haven’t gotten so Orwellian as to require parenting classes.

But where Plibersek really loses the argument is when she claims early childhood educators are “undervalued” because they are almost exclusively women.

“There is no way anyone can tell me, Mr. Deputy Speaker, that it’s a coincidence that in an industry where 98% of the employees are women, that you see this sort of undervaluation of the employees in this work,” Plibersek said.

What’s her evidence that this is due to gender?

“It makes no sense to me that someone with a Certificate III in early childhood education earns 20-something-bucks an hour and someone with a Certificate III in metal work earns 40-something bucks an hour,” she added. “There is no way that that is anything other than gender-based discrimination.”

Seriously?

First, a Certificate III is a level of education and qualification in Australia, like an apprenticeship certificate. It’s basically a non-college degree. Level 7 is what they call a Bachelor Degree and Level 10 is what they call a Doctoral Degree, so a Certificate III requires much less training and education.

But Plibersek is comparing the same level for different jobs. Early childhood education — to have that as a job — does require knowledge, but it is far different work (obviously) than metal fabrication, which requires technical skills, sometimes artistry, and often risk of physical harm. Early childhood education does not. That is why the pay is so different.

As to her claim that the gender of the workers is what really matters, she should find out if the 2% of early childhood educators who are not women are also being paid “20-something-bucks an hour.” If they aren’t, and it’s not because those men are working with young special needs kids or working more hours or at more prestigious schools, then maybe Plibersek would have a case that at least within the early childhood education industry, there is discrimination.

Neither of the two professions she describes are gender-exclusive. Women can be metal workers – they choose not to. Men can work in early childhood education — most choose not to.

Plibersek does women a disservice when she paints them as victims when they are not, and she fails her own discrimination standard when she suggests metal workers should not be valued so much.
