Why would a static field be important?

Because just like the breaking of symmetry to create mass does not blow anything up. Velocity being just a shift of angle (space travel) is just a shift of energy that alters another geometry. conservation of energy is maintained - just know what you are changing.

All velocity is the same

The only thing that changes is the divot is space time.

Why is that so hard for people to get?

All velocity is probably the speed of light is is just the grid we live on that changes that velocity Albert knew.

They re wrote Albert to base it on velocity and not deviation/divots in space time. The velocity is always equal.
