It's like they are virtue-signalling by claiming someone sexually assaulted them or "misgendered" them or whatever. Or like somehow everyone is supposed to think they are virtuous and heroic if they claim to be the wrong gender in their God-given body. I know people who were raped over 45 years ago who do not make a big deal of it. It happened, it was psychologically traumatic, but the person survived and went on to have a wonderful productive life. The perps (plural) served prison time due to credible eyewitness testimony from the victim. Getting raped is not fashionable.
