Assuming Grassley has not gone rogue and is drunk tweeting, then this is a ploy to make the MSM cover the republican side of the Ford issue.
People already don't believe her, if it goes mainstream that she won't testify after 5 extensions it confirms that, and makes normies seriously question the D's, MSM, and what's really at stake with the confirmation of Kavanaugh (beyond just Roe v. Wade as the D's have pushed).
