Only problem is that he seems way too young. Obama has grey hair now.

Possible that they look similar simply because of common genetics of backgrounds.

Agreed. Here's his official fluff piece, PDF related. There is no doubt that they are planning on him being president some day (kek!)

But I think he's too young to have been Obama's roommate, no matter what legend they create for him.
