People that live in fire zones in the CA mountains already pay an additional tax that was never voted on. One year they just arbitrarily taxed you a yearly $150 for living in a fire hazard area(unless you lived within a certain distance to a fire station, then it was only $135.) CDF already made you clean up your yard 100 feet from structures (or to your property line), remove pine needles from your roof, and cut down dead grass or they could fine you if you didn't comply. Now they make you pay for fires you didn't start. Total BS.
