So ridiculous!!! As a survivor of home invasion/rape this makes my blood boil. I wish I could forget the details. My families lives were turned upside down in order for me to prosecute. Almost 4 years of hearings before trial finally happened. This was my son's entire elementary experience. The guys who did this to me are serving life sentences with no parole. It would have been way easier for me to let them go. I was on the witness stand for 8 hours. Questioned individually by not one, but all 3 of their male attorneys.

People talk about giving women the right to be hear, power, blah blah blah. As a women who has had her wwhole life turned upside down by rape, it's absolutely sickening to me that she is allowed to ger away with this.

It's just bullshit. Victims of crimes are also required to follow the processes of the court system. How is she being allowed to do this. I was given a court date. If I didn't show up to testify the defendants would have gone free.

What am I missing here?
