The Deep State push to block the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh just got reinforcements with the hiring by accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford of Michael Bromwich, a lawyer representing fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and whose work in Washington goes back to the Iran Contra investigation where he served as Associate Counsel and prosecuted Oliver North. Bromwich also heads a consulting firm that specializes in crisis and government investigation communications.

Bromwich will be joining Blasey Ford’s current attorneys on the case, Debra Katz and Lisa Banks.

Team of UK PM May Preparing for Snap General Elections in November – Reports

The team of UK Prime Minister Theresa May started preparing to possibly hold snap general elections in November, local media reported Sunday citing May’s aides.

The goal of the elections would be to save May’s premiership and the Brexit talks after the majority of proposals of her Chequers agreement were rejected by Brussels, according to The Sunday Times newspaper.

Previously, local media reported that UK government ministers would call on the Prime Minister during a meeting on Monday to present an alternative to her Chequers proposals on UK's relations with EU after its withdrawal from the bloc.

May has come under criticism from politicians both outside and inside the United Kingdom over her way of dealing with UK-EU Brexit talks, particularly her reluctance to reconsider her Chequers proposals.

Earlier in September, media circulated reports that the Conservative Party's pro-Brexit European Research Group held a meeting during which a possible vote of no confidence in May was discussed.

Australian politics ‘the laughing stock of the world’, says Julie Bishop

In her first major interview since the latest leadership spill, former deputy leader of the Liberal Party Julie Bishop is set to speak out on the bluster, bullying and allegations of sexism in Australian politics.

Speaking with the Nine Network’s political editor Chris Uhlmann, Ms Bishop claims Australian politics has confounded the world, as the challenge and defeat of Malcolm Turnbull made headlines across the globe.

“I’ve had many calls from my counterpart foreign ministers who are very politely asking why I am no longer the foreign minister and what happened to the prime minister,” Ms Bishop says in a preview for tonight’s 60 Minutes report.

“There have been some rather unkind comments about Australia being the Italy of the South Pacific and the coup capital of the world.”

Ms Bishop’s interview comes as another woman this week deserted the Coalition and the nation was exposed to stories of male MPs bulling their female colleagues.

Many claim the latest leadership spill is a reflection of the wreckage they’ve been involved in for the last 10 years, with the focus on the bullying “theatre” of Question Time.

“It’s no better than school children,” Bishop says of the Question Time antics.

“In fact, not as well behaved as school children.”

Uhlmann speaks to not only the former deputy leader, but the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tony Smith, South Australian MP, Rebekah Sharkie, Labor’s Anthony Albanese and Liberal Craig Laundry.
