The point of this was to take out MbS under the cover of the mass distraction via "Fast'n'Furious" style gun delivery program.
Jesus Campos is likely La M or higher up MS-13, but the shots of him receiving the award "after the shooting" are not only shopped, but the steakhouse in the Aria began remodeling in April (or at least closed for remodel about then).
He then goes on Ellen for the Handled, patsy interview, we never see him walk, and we never hear from him again.
