nursing is fine when they are younger and have no teeth.

after that point, you need to consider it an emotional crutch, preventing your kid from dealing with their issues.

had a cousin who nursed until hers was almost 5.

he would run to her and thump her boob and say 'I want bo" and she would oblige.

kid is still strange to this day, but too involved a story to get into.

you got to let them grow up and get independent to make it.

 

there is a small minority who think otherwise, but to me the mom is just as guilty as the kid for prolonging that bond beyond normalcy.

mom get just as much from it as the kid, maybe more.
