So right you are! I call it "the Westernization of Christianity" I believe somethings happening though…a return to Christianity as it was rolled out over 2,000 years ago…more akin to Acts Ch 2 & 4
No doubt about regarding prayer! It's interesting to me because my Biblical / world view or position has changed dramatically over the last few years! I've always thought myself to be a staunch "literal-ist" and guess I always was…but when you strip the religion away, things become clear…"meaning" changes..for example, for the last 27 years I always "thought" the word "repent" meant to "turn" or to "go in the opposite direction"…but it doesn't it means "to change ones mind about Jesus Christ"! Now consider all the other written "Truths" that have been twisted!
