Worst case scenario ("if this thing fails"), Kavanaugh doesn't get appointed. Then POTUS nominates someone equally qualified. Eventually, a good SC justice WILL be appointed. The Dems don't have the power to stop unless they sweep the midterms, which I don't see happening. If the elections are secure, with no fraud, Repubs will, at least, hold what they have, if not gain many more seats. It's all good. However, Kav's gonna get in and probably before the SC comes back into session on the first Monday in October.
