Historically science and 'religion'/'spirituality'/'consciousness' were never at odds.

This conflict is relatively new and I suspect deliberately created in society to cause such conflict.

To varying degrees each human is intrinsically of aware of their individual body/mind/spirit complex and this 'battle' between science/spirit is a distraction.

Just as each human is a combination of spirit/matter so all such pursuits to discover truth in the real world should follow a similar vein.
