Ford was already having second thoughts and freaking out about sending the letter more than a month before she was named. I found this interesting because if she hadn't been named or the letter wasn't released, there would be no reason to freak out. She would have thought her letter was being ignored unless she knew the plan all along was to do it after close of hearing. The letter sat for nearly 2 months by this time and her name was not released. This convo with friends would never have happened unless she knew what the plan was all along. The natural assumption would be her letter had no impact… not her letter was going to have impact and I want to kill myself.
