There is one other thing about CA voting–even when our votes go through, they aren't taken seriously.

The best example would be when we voted on defining marriage as being between a man and a woman. We already had a law that stated that civil unions were considered exactly equal, so most people felt there was no need to allow marriage for gay people. Of course, the vote was overturned by a gay judge, and the Attorney General that said they would defend the proposition was somehow defeated by Kamala Harris despite leading by 8% before late votes were counted.

Then there was the Browndoggle–the high-speed train that was never supposed to cost CA taxpayers any money, was supposed to cost $32 Billion, was supposed to connect SF to LA, was supposed to make it in a record amount of time, was supposed to cost less than an airplane ticket…I could go on and on.

This state is so corrupt you wouldn't believe it. Politicians throwing keggers in their offices in Sacramento–"that's just how things are done around here."

Ignore that idiot, baker. It's hard enough to find good, trustworthy people to do your job. Nobody has any business criticizing unless they're willing to step up and try themselves. I mean, unless there's obvious shilling going on, which there isn't.

Nobody should lose the right to voice their opinion because they stepped up and took on greater responsibility. If anything, their voice should carry more weight.
