Was Obama FBI Paying Chris Steele For Dossier Before Fusion GPS? Updated Timeline of Events Now Indicates This Is the Case

Christopher Steele, the former MI6 agent who hated Donald Trump and who is widely believed to be the creator of the fake dossier tied to his name, may have been working for the FBI on his dossier before he was reportedly hired by Fusion GPS, the DNC and the Clinton Campaign.

Sara Carter reported in February 2018 that Steele began compiling information on candidate Trump before being hired by Fusion GPS and the Democrat National Committee and Clinton Campaign [emphasis added] –

… [Senators] Grassley and Graham noted that “there is substantial evidence suggesting that Mr. Steele materially misled the FBI about a key aspect of his dossier efforts, one which bears on his credibility.”The pair of lawmakers also allege that Steele was compiling information on Trump and his campaign before being hired by now embattled research firm Fusion GPS, which was paid by the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton Campaign for his work.

Then Judicial Watch reported in August 2018 the following in response to their request for information regarding agent Steele [emphasis added] –

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today the FBI turned over 70 pages of heavily redacted records about Christopher Steele, the former British spy, hired with Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee funds, who authored the infamous Dossier targeting President Trump during last year’s presidential campaign. The documents show that Steele was cut off as a “Confidential Human Source” (CHS) after he disclosed his relationship with the FBI to a third party. The documents show at least 11 FBI payments to Steele in 2016 and document that he was admonished for unknown reasons in February 2016. The documents were turned over in response to Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for records of communications and payments between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele and his private firm, Orbis Business Intelligence (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:17-cv-00916)).

Judicial Watch’s reporting noted some key items –

1. The documents provided by the Deep State FBI were heavily redacted, consistent with all their previous efforts to hide to their crimes and misdeeds.

1. There were 11 payments to Steele but the dates of payment and the amounts are redacted.

1. Steele was cutoff as a spy for the FBI (i.e. Confidential Human Source) on November 1st, 2016. The report reads that the FBI’s relationship with the CHS would change completely and that “it was unlikely the FBI would continue a relationship with the CHS”. This was all coordinated with Steele’s FBI “Handling Agent” who is unknown at this time.

1. Finally, and possibly most damning, is the fact that the CHS (Steele) was “admonished for unknown reasons in February 2016.”

This admonishment verifies that Steele was a spy (CHS) for the FBI in February of 2016. He could not have been admonished if he wasn’t working for the FBI as a spy.

Senator Grassley and Graham report that Steele was working on his dossier before he was hired by Fusion GPS, the DNC and the Clinton Campaign.

We don’t know the dates and amounts of money paid to Steele from the FBI. We do know that Steele was paid by the FBI and that he was working for the FBI as early as February 2016.

The release of the FISA documents may help, but it now appears that the FBI was paying Steele to work on his dossier in early 2016, long before Fusion GPS, the DNC and the Clinton Campaign paid him to do the same.

Judge Brett Kavanaugh will provide the Senate with calendars from the summer of 1982 to back up his claims he was never at a party described by accuser Christine Ford.

Christine Ford has made an uncorroborated accusation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her decades ago at a drunken high school pool party that no one else, including the four people she claims were at the party, remembers.

Kavanaugh has categorically denied the allegations and told Senator Orin Hatch (R-UT) last week he wasn’t even at the party in question.

Brett Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 showing he was out of town most of the summer vacation or with his parents.

The New York Times reported:

Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.

The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blasey’s allegations, Judge Kavanaugh’s team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.

The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews. A few parties are mentioned but include names of friends other than those identified by Dr. Blasey.

A fourth alleged witness in Christine Blasey Ford’s alleged sexual assault accusations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh broker her silence Saturday night and denied the allegations.

Leland Ingham Keyser says she has no recollection of EVER BEING AT A PARTY with Brett Kavanaugh and does not know him.

Ms. Keyser is a lifelong friend of Christine Blasey Ford.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley rescheduled the hearing for Thursday to hear testimony from Kavanaugh and Ford.

Alyssa Milano: Everyone Who Doesn’t Reject Kavanaugh Is Saying An ‘Alleged Abuser’s Career Is More Valuable Than A Survivor’s Humanity’

On Sunday, Vox published an op-ed by Alyssa Milano in which the actress discusses her own alleged experience with sexual assault.

While Milano uses much of the piece to rightly criticize President Trump’s recent tweets about Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, in the final two paragraphs, she makes a troubling statement about the Kavanaugh/Ford situation:

So let me be as clear as possible: I believe Christine Blasey Ford and I demand that our Senators vote to reject Brett Kavanaugh as the next Justice on the Supreme Court. Every person who refuses to loudly and openly reject Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination is telling every generation of Americans that an alleged abuser’s career is more valuable than a survivor’s humanity. And the highest court in our land is no place for an alleged sexual offender to sit.

To every survivor reading this, know that I am here with you. Know that I see you. I believe you. I am you. And know that we will do whatever we can to stop Brett Kavanaugh from serving on the Supreme Court of our United States.

Would you like to wait for more alleged witnesses to be interviewed, hear Blasey Ford’s testimony to the United States Senate, or listen to Kavanaugh’s rebuttal prior to making a judgement call that could utterly ruin an innocent man’s life and career? Too bad, because anyone who doesn’t categorically reject Kavanaugh’s nomination on the basis that he has been accused of sexual assault is "telling every generation of Americans that an alleged abuser’s career is more valuable than a survivor’s humanity."

While it’s vital that allegations of sexual abuse always be taken seriously, we must not allow the presumption of innocence on the part of the accused to be minimized. We must do everything we can to be fair and impartial observers, examining the evidence and coming to a reasonable conclusion.

It appears that Milano has already reached a conclusion, using the word "alleged" only to protect herself legally. Such thinking is dangerously narrow.

No more king & queen: University holds first gender-neutral homecoming, honors ‘royalty’ instead

Purdue University in Indiana announced its first ever gender-neutral homecoming court over the weekend, ditching “King” and “Queen” and instead opting for homecoming “Royalty.

What are the details?

According to the university, seniors Lily Bishop and Grant Wood were crowned “Homecoming Royalty” during homecoming festivities on Saturday.

Bishop and Wood were crowned during the halftime ceremony of Purdue’s homecoming game against Boston College. The Boilermakers went on to beat the Eagles 30-13.

“Bishop, of Cincinnati, is majoring in industrial engineering in the College of Enginnering. Wood, of Indianapolis, is majoring in biology in the College of Science,” Purdue University said in a press release.

According to the Journal & Courier, the push for a gender-neutral homecoming court was “a student-driven effort to push forward with gender equality across all platforms.”

“The current candidates we chose had better resumes, better applications and better represented Purdue,” John Brock, director of Purdue’s Spirits and Traditions committee, said.

Purdue isn’t the only major university to hold a gender-neutral homecoming this year. Penn State plans to hold its first ever gender inclusive homecoming weekend on Oct. 13.

Israel Claims Russian Version Of Il-20 Incident Is Fake

On September 23, the Israeli military rejected the Russian accusation that it was behind the downing of the Il-20 intelligence plane on September 17 and insisted that the coordinate mechanism with Russia was used properly prior to the incident.

“The deconfliction mechanism operated in the relevant timeframe (as it has been operating over the last two and a half years,” the Israeli military said in an official statement.

Furthermore, the Israeli military repeated its claims that Israeli Air Force (IAF) warplanes were in Israeli airspace at the time of the downing of the Russian plane. The Israeli military went on to blame Syria for the incident once again and vowed to continue its operations against Iranian forces in the war torn country.

“The IDF [Israeli Defense Forces] will continue to operate in accordance with the directives of the Israeli Government against Iran’s incessant attempts to establish itself in Syria and to arm the terrorist organization Hezbollah with lethal and accurate weapons,” the Israeli military statement reads.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Russia released a radar map that proves IAF warplanes hide behind the Il-20 before it was hit by Syrian air defense fire. The ministry also confirmed that Israel informed it only one minute ahead of the airstrike and provided false info about the location of the target.

Independent observers said that the radar map released by the Russian MoD was plausible, which indicates that Israel lied about the location of its warplanes during the incident.

Israel’s refusal to recognize its mistake and its insistence on conducting new attacks will likely lead to more tension with Russia. The situation may escalate further if Israel launched new attacks without improving the coordinate mechanisms with Russia.
