Suggest copypasta(s) and rewrites by multiple persons or at least on multiple devices. Messy.
Look at the evidence with the jaded eye of forensic evaluator. Whether that be a forensic accountant, forensic detective, forensic engineer, forensic toxologist, and so on.
Discrepancies (such as you noted in format) exist (observe for all kinds) and serve to establish individuality.
In this instance, at this point in the political narrative (not criminal narrative, note) pay extra attention to progressive change. How has the story "evolved" from then to now to future? Describe it as an origin story, as a trend line, as a projection. Draw a chart. Plot the plot.
