This guy is such an idiot. He's like the embarrassing bad liar that takes it too far and ruins the joke.
I think Grassley's plan is simply this: Ford get up there and testify. I bet she's chemically imbalanced and will absolutely come off as a liar driven by ideology, and the American people will see right through it. The Democrats will continue to crow about how "credible" she is, which will disgust American voters even further. Meanwhile, this radical will be perjuring herself, which ultimately results in jail time down the line–for her, and all involved in hijacking this nomination.
So once America has seen them hijacking the SCOTUS nomination, it's even less of a stretch for them to believe that they're trying to hijack POTUS's election.
What does any of that have to do with the Democracy that Democrats are so fond of speaking of? Jack and shit. They don't care about equality, or even people–they just want to win, and they'll do anything to do it…and this whole fiasco just proves it.
