Difficult to tell whether the #MeToo movement is something spontaneous, something that /ourguys prodded along, or something /theirguys prodded along. I think the last is the least likely–especially given that it has almost exclusively taken out Liberals up to this point.
It might just simply be that Ronan Farrow has kind of positioned himself as a champion of women's rights with his expose of Weinstein, and they decided to use him for his notoriety. Whether or not the woman has any credibility, I don't know.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Kavanaugh sounds like a decent choice, but his connections to the Bush's isn't my favorite thing. Whether he makes it or not doesn't really concern me, because I'm sure it's all part of the plan. If he doesn't get in, rest assured that the judge that takes his place will have the Liberals wishing it had been Kavanaugh instead.
