And what if they are the bad guys and the reality is you are not being imprisoned here, they are? What if the firmament kept them in and we had been given tools to try to figure it out for ourselves on how we can ascend out of here.

Wouldn't that really piss off the ones actually imprisoned? Wouldn't that be a great reason to take out books of the Bible and to lie to you so you felt inferior and imprisoned because they are mirroring their own feelings onto you?

Maybe as a best effort to offer a last chance at redemption. Maybe we are too self centered and don't realize we are being saved as well as helping to save the fallen. God says he wants no flesh to perish. He also said we were made in His image. That means that we have more power within us than we realize and it seems like love activates it. It also means God is experiencing life through us. Like we are His avatars. His vessels. He must have a good reason for why He put us right in the middle of all this.
