Lisa Page believed Rod Rosenstein was serious about secretly recording Trump: Report

Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page was reportedly under the impression that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was being serious when, in the days after FBI Director James Comey was fired last spring, he brought up secretly recording President Trump.

The New York Times broke the news about Rosenstein's idea on Friday, characterizing the taping comments as well as talk of invoking the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to oust the president as being legitimate considerations. However, sources in follow-up reports from the Washington Post and NBC News pushed back, saying the covert recording remark was made sarcastically or jokingly.

But one notable person in the room, Page, thought otherwise. Two sources familiar with the situation said Page, who wrote a memo about that meeting, told the Daily Beast she took the secret taping comment seriously.

Page resigned from the FBI in May amid a controversy that derived from text messages between herself and FBI agent Peter Strzok that displayed an anti-Trump bias.

Rosenstein vehemently denies that he ever "pursued or authorized" the recording of the president, and another one of Daily Beast's sources, a former official who was in the room when Rosenstein suggested a secret recording, also dismissed the idea. “Never for one second did I think he was seriously suggesting that anybody do that,” that source said.

The Brouhaha Over China’s Haifa Deal Highlights Israel’s “Deep State” Divisions

China will soon operate the Israeli port of Haifa if everything goes according to plan.

Haaretz reported on a conference late last month in Israel where the former navy chief of staff and chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission Shaul Horev warned about China’s forthcoming management of the strategic port of Haifa. The deal was agreed to three and a half years ago by the Transportation Ministry and Port Authority without what the outlet claimed was the input of either the National Security Council or the navy itself, the latter of which is supposedly concerned because Israel’s submarine fleet is based next to the port. The impending implementation of the agreement has led to the usual fear mongering about “debt traps”, military implications, and oddly enough, even whether Israel is pivoting away from the US.

What’s clearly happening is that a faction of Israel’s permanent military, intelligence, and diplomatic bureaucracies – or “deep state” – wants to join China’s One Belt One Road (OBOR) global vision of New Silk Road connectivity while the other wants to retain Tel Aviv’s stalwart pro-American foreign policy by preventing this, hence the public friction over this issue. Unlike what many in the Alt-Media Community might imagine, Israel and China have become increasingly close over the past couple of years as Beijing has developed an interest in the so-called “Red-Med Railway” proposal of connecting the two bodies of water via a high-speed railway that could eventually complement the Suez Canal or possibly one day even become an alternative to it.

Israel’s agreement to allow China to expand and then subsequently manage the port of Haifa is indicative of an influential “deep state” faction’s desire to diversify Tel Aviv’s strategic dependence on the US by pragmatically cooperating with other rising Great Powers, such as what it’s been doing lately with Russia in Syria for example. Furthermore, it appears as though this faction envisions Israel fulfilling a similar role as its new partner India in the sense of “multi-aligning” between Great Powers, which could in theory allow it to leverage the newfound “competition” over its “loyalty” in order to extract better benefits from all sides, including the US.

Should the deal not be offset by any last-minute so-called “national security” concerns by the opposing “deep state” faction and its American allies, then Israel would basically be giving the Silk Road its best-ever international endorsement, which might also have been one of the reasons why China was even interested in this opportunity in the first place. There’s also the possibility, noted by Ber Cowen at The Times Of Israel, that China has long-term ambitions of controlling the East Mediterranean port of European access for Gulf resources following any future Palestinian peace deal that results in the Arab Monarchies officially recognizing Israel and building pipelines through it in order to save on upwards of 40% of the costs that they pay for transiting through the Suez Canal.

China in Israeli HaifaWhatever China’s intentions are – and they certainly don’t have anything to do with locking Israel into a “debt trap” or spying on its submarines – the controversy over this agreement nevertheless points to the fact that there are two geopolitically competing “deep state” factions in Israel that are now making their Haifa feud public because each of them believes for very different reasons that it could indeed be a game-changer if the deal ends up going through.

Abe aims to rewrite Japan constitution as he seeks 3rd term

A revision to the U.S.-drafted 1947 constitution is a decades-old pledge of the Liberal Democratic Party that none of Abe's predecessors has been able to achieve. They include Abe's grandfather, former Prime Minister Nobusuke Kishi, who saw the constitution as a humiliation imposed on Japan following its World War II defeat.

New Yorker Publishes Accusation Containing ZERO Evidence to Support, and 100% of Evidence To Refute

This is beyond bizarre. Seriously. Forget the salacious details in the story…. the construct of the story is so stunningly flawed it is jaw-dropping as presented.

The New Yorker runs an article about an accusation made by a woman named Deborah Ramirez about a freshman party at Yale, where she claims she was in a drunken stupor and Judge Brett Kavanaugh, then 18, pulled out his penis during a drinking game.

Etc. Etc. Etc…. Really, no need to go further.

Why?

Because despite their search, and discussions with “dozens” of potential witnesses…

“The magazine contacted several dozen classmates of Ramirez and Kavanaugh regarding the incident”…

….the New Yorker was unable to find a single witness to corroborate the story being made by the accuser. None. Not a single confirming witness to back up the claim. They write:

…”The New Yorker has not confirmed with other eyewitnesses that Kavanaugh was present at the party.”…

But wait.

It gets better.

The accuser did give the New Yorker six names to support her claim. Six witnesses Deborah Ramirez stated could substantiate her accusation. And when the New Yorker interviewed them, ALL SIX said it never happened.

[…] “In a statement, two of those male classmates who Ramirez alleged were involved the incident, the wife of a third male student she said was involved, and three other classmates, Dino Ewing, Louisa Garry, and Dan Murphy, disputed Ramirez’s account of events: “We were the people closest to Brett Kavanaugh during his first year at Yale. He was a roommate to some of us, and we spent a great deal of time with him, including in the dorm where this incident allegedly took place. Some of us were also friends with Debbie Ramirez during and after her time at Yale.”

“We can say with confidence that if the incident Debbie alleges ever occurred, we would have seen or heard about it—and we did not. The behavior she describes would be completely out of character for Brett. In addition, some of us knew Debbie long after Yale, and she never described this incident until Brett’s Supreme Court nomination was pending. Editors from the New Yorker contacted some of us because we are the people who would know the truth, and we told them that we never saw or heard about this.””

Now, stop for a minute and think about this.

A claim is made.

The New Yorker tries to substantiate the claim.

The New Yorker finds ZERO people who can validate the claim.

The six witnesses the accuser says will back up her claim all deny any knowledge of the claim; yet the New Yorker still runs the article.

100% of the evidence discovered by the New Yorker refutes the claim.

Yet they publish it.

Enter the Star Chamber….

Theresa May’s Final Days

But the reality being hidden from the unsuspecting public, is that Theresa May has something more urgent and existentially significant occupying her mind than the so called ‘EU negotiations’. This pressing matter relates to the USA and specifically to the revelations that UK and Australian secret services covertly and unlawfully conspired with criminal agents within the US administration to undermine the confirmed sitting President of the United States of America.

In his interview with President Donald J Trump in Las Vegas on Thursday evening 20th September 2018 (circa 0300hrs 21st Sept BST), Sean Hannity of Fox News asked the President questions relating to the recent Order to declassify documents relating to the Carter Page FISA application and FISC approval. The panic that the document declassification has created in the UK and Australian government has resulted in requests from the UK and Australia to stop the publication of facts which will reveal the truth about ‘Russian Collusion’. Those who in January 2017 were confused at the unexpected resignation of Robert Hannigan from his position as Head of GCHQ which was reported three days after President Trumps’ inauguration, may soon start to understand why the resignation came about, albeit nearly two years down the line.

“..we’re also dealing with foreign countries that do have a problem. I must tell you: I got called today from two very good allies saying, ‘please can we talk’, so, it’s not as simple as all that and we do have to respect their wishes, but it will all come out.” Trump said to the listening public before addressing the Nevada rally in support of the Republican push for the ‘midterm’ elections.

The New York Times, who have been at the forefront of keeping the ‘Russia/Trump Collusion’ story at the top of the news agenda for two years, yesterday (21st September 2018) released a damning article that will no doubt be seen as the start of the collapse of the corrupt house of cards in Washington DC which will reveal itself to a shocked public over the coming days and weeks. Rod Rosenstein the Deputy Attorney General is in deep water and even what President Trump has referred to as the ‘fakenews media’ can no longer hide the evidenced criminality and abuse of power from within the ‘Deep State’. Rosenstein, Strzok, McCabe, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Ohr… …the list will go on, but the reality which has been facing corrupt actors within the USA’s federal government is about to manifest itself in the form of indictments, trials and custodial sentences.
