There is a clip that leaked in the last year from a plane cam that shows a missle hitting the Pentagon. Assumable the plane that fired it tracking the shot. So it was literally "hit by a plane".
Some discussion if this clip was faked. It didn't get scrubbed the way some do so thought is was an official leak.
