"If (Sessions, in this article, but substitute Rosenstein for our purposes) were to resign or be fired by the president, the Constitution allows for the president to fill the post through a recess appointment if the Senate goes on recess for a period of more than 10 days.
Article II of the U.S. Constitution states that the president can “fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.”
Under those terms, the president could appoint whomever he wants (Gowdy?), with the pick remaining in effect until the end of the Senate’s next session – through Jan. 3, 2019 – without any need for Senate approval altogether in selecting a new acting attorney general.

Her dad's dirt with his CIA front companies in DC, I mean, come on. Giving cars & houses to diplomats, wiring/bugging everything, then getting that intel straight to McCabe, plus those diplomats get access to McCabe? The Ted Cruz restaurant extravaganza just handed him the election in Texas. It was almost perfect enough to be a Q op. What timing, smack in the middle of the Kavanaugh show. People are super pissed about that, too.
