Huh. Didn't see that coming, honestly. It all started when the scots/irish taught the other slaves the pentatonic, then they took over for a spell performing in "negro only clubs", only to have another scots-irish take the reigns again, and make white people like "rock 'n' roll"; despite it being as degenerate as haters originally thought.

All the really good "rock 'n' roll" also shared melodic roots with Gospel music from back in the day. That's what made it even more an abomination. But think of it this way, you wouldn't have today's modern "country" without all that happening.
