I think it does, by presenting extreme examples, it lessens the impact, forces overton window, generally deforms the standards artificially.

don't get me wrong, i think it's a good thing that a light is shone on elsagate.
but it's blatantly outrageous nature is PART OF THE PSYOP: it was never meant not to get caught.
it was meant to cause as much damage as possible, and draw fire to it eventually, minimizing the impact for less obvious divisions of the psyop.
that important aspect should not be forgotten.
