im not a chemtrailfag, but I have always wondered when I watch the planes fly over my house there are some planes that leave contrails behind them that stretch all the way across the sky, while some others evaporate almost immediately. They all look llike commercial jets to me, and they all seem to be flying at pretty close to the same altitude, so what accounts for the difference in the length of contrails some planes leave behind?

but these are planes flying on the same day. I live on an approach to a major airport so I have hundreds of planes flying over my house daily on pretty much the same path. I'm talking 1 plane right behind the other with huge differences in contrail distance. Wouldn't the atmospheric conditions be exactly the same for both planes seeing how they are only minutes behind each other?

no i know they fly at different altitudes, but like I said, I am on an approach to a major airport, and just visibly they look like they are all pretty much at the same altitude as they line up their final approach.
