No one is getting fired for getting pregnant. That is absurd. And while there is good reason to keep the state out of personal health decisions, you neglect to mention the state's compelling interest in protecting the life of another person, the unborn child.

>It is not our business to interfere and impose our moral beliefs onto women who find themselves in the position of making a choice.

The state can intervene with their "moral beliefs" in a situation where an angry spouse wants to kill their husband. In such a case, the police will respond to a domestic disturbance and say "You don't have the right to kill your spouse." The issue with regard to abortion is simply whether or not the state believes the unborn child (at whatever determined gestational point) has the right to life. Many believe it does have such a right, especially at any point following the first trimester.
