Roe vs Wade

Several reasons to sustain it having nothing to do with abortion per se.

Having Law that criminalizes abortion then criminalizes a Woman for making decisions about her own body.

It would be like Law criminalizing a Man for choosing to sterilize himself - choosing to cut his tubes. It allows the State to enter your body. Like forced vaccinations or sterilizations. Roe vs Wade allows a Woman to be SOVEREIGN over her own body.

There is also a very significant economical factor. You probably don’t remember the days (which still exist in some markets) where a pregnant Woman was fired for being pregnant. If there was no husband or parents to support her financially - both Woman and child would perish.

Also it is very difficult for a Woman to continue to work the last trimester or with a dependent newborn to care for. If she can’t work how can she care for both if she is without husband or parents to support her and baby?

Having the Federal, State or other government PAY for abortions violates the personal ethics of parts of society.

Therefore if a Woman wants abortion for whatever reason, then should pay out of pocket and not use someone else’s money (tax/ planned parenthood) and potentially violate their ethics system.

To believe Women don’t get fired for being pregnant only means you don’t know history or today’s facts. It’s very difficult to prove that was the reason for firing. The documentation is in the hands of the employer. Plus Federal Law does not protect pregnancy as a civil EEO right to be employed.

There is also the fact of Men not paying child support.

The issues of legality regarding abortion need to be separated from a Woman’s right (or Man’s) to make decisions about their own body.

No one who cannot become pregnant should be able to make the final decision about the matter.
