So, if I understand you correctly, if a woman knows that she is very likely to die if a pregnancy continues she should just place her faith in God and hope she doesn't?

I do not believe that for one single moment. In that case you are taking a Christian Science approach, which is to do nothing, but pray.

To be consistent, you must apply that across the board, never seek medical help or advice.
