What appears to me is they have no intention of Christine testifying. This is a battle for credibility in the media mainstream. They cannot win with legal issues, so they will not subject her and the other witnesses to a felony. It will deprive Kavanaugh of the ability to clear his name and therefore will have to be withdrawn. I think this is their game plan. It is also why Christine did not SIGN her letter to Grassley. SUBPOENA HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Play by the rule of law, not public opinion. I think they will freak out if she gets subpoenaed. Let Kavanaugh defend himself.
