Problem is the Republicans in Congress and, yes, the the White House give the impression of being weak. From the normie perspective (I know because I live with one) here is how it all looks
-Republicans get clobbered by Democrats in Congress. Democrats will win any game of hardball.
-Even if the media is biased, if the Republicans will not hit back twice as hard, then what is a voter supposed to do? (Answer, shrug shoulders and don't worry)
-Democrats are able to literally beat up Republicans in the streets and the government lets it happen. No US Marshalls, no FBI to the rescue, not criminal conspiracy charges, no executive orders against civic terrorism. If you are a peace loving normie, you will be very disappointed in the useless White House, but that is how it always is. Republicans are weak.
-Finally, Trump sure allows himself to be painted as the evil one. If I am a normie, I will not speak up for someone that everyone else considers evil.
Too bad the GOP is so goddam weak, and too bad POTUS has decided to keep secret all evidence that would show who is truly evil.
Too bad, really.
