Senior Oxfam staff reportedly paid for “full-on Caligula orgies” with survivors of the devastating 2010 Haitian earthquake. An investigation by The Times of London revealed multiple aid workers paid earthquake survivors for sex, including some who could have been underage. The charity has been accused of covering up the scandal by allowing three men to resign and firing four others for gross misconduct. One of the men who was allowed to resign, former Haiti Director Roland van Hauwermeiren, was given a “phased and dignified exit” for fear of damaging the charity’s reputation. Prostitution is illegal in Haiti and the age of consent is 18, but Oxfam didn’t report any of the incidents to the Haitian authorities because “it was extremely unlikely that any action would be taken.”
A leader of the notorious Zetas drug cartel has been caught in Mexico City, according to Mexican authorities.
José María Guízar Valencia is wanted in the US, which had offered a $5m (£3.6m) reward for his capture.
Known as Z-43, he is a dual US-Mexican citizen and is thought to have run the Zeta's south-eastern operations.
The US state department said he was responsible for "importing thousands of kilograms of cocaine and methamphetamine to the US every year".
On its website, it said the Zetas "have murdered an untold number of Guatemalan civilians during the systematic overtake of the Guatemalan border region with Mexico during recent years".

The Anthrax Attacks of 2001 Targeted Two Senators Who Opposed the Patriot Act
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy and Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle were two of the targets in the 2001 anthrax attacks. They both voiced concerns that the Patriot Act could be in violation of constitutional rights.
The attacks happened several weeks after 9/11. The notes in the letters had messages with phrases like, "Death to America" and "Death to Israel." They all had the date "9-11-2001." written at the top. Investigators later determined that someone was attempting to misdirect the investigation.
The craziest thing of all is that the President's office (Bush) and the VP's office (Cheney) all went on Cipro (strong antibiotic used to treat Anthrax) before the letters were sent out!

Las Vegas Strip shooter Stephen Paddock had anti-anxiety medication in his system, autopsy records obtained Friday by the Review-Journal show.
The autopsy report also confirms Paddock died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
At the request of the Review-Journal and The Associated Press, District Judge Timothy Williams had ordered Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg to turn over Paddock’s report last week to the news organizations, but Fudenberg refused to release it until it was finalized.
