where the dems screwed up (among others) terribly was in their belief that she would win.

.. and with that smugness… they failed to continue their planning/scheming years ahead.

now they are continually being played like fools and they are reacting to events, as opposed to controlling them… not enough backstories are created, not enough "little bits of supportive intel" placed (and dated) to corroborate their attacks… so they continue to look petty in their attacks as there is no coordination of the larger picture.
