Theory on the Dem's Kavanaugh strategy. You know how the idea is to get the Dems to back and trust session before the hammer drops? I think that may be a variation of what's at play here. By getting us to go all in on defending Kavanaugh against sexual assault allegations, as absurd as they may be, it sets the stage for a very weird situation when the pedo charges are brought out officially. The Dems will howl that they are targeted in an absurd politically motivated witch hunt. It would also put Kavanaugh in a difficult spot as a new SCOTUS member, would it not, if he were to have to rule on anything related to that?

Are the Dems attempting to pull of a sort of jiu-jitsu here? Could it work? Any political strategists strategists or lawfags in the house?
