Linux of course. People have blown the kernel debacle way out of proportion. Linus is taking a break, it isn't the first time he's done this either. Greg, who is now in charge, has been 2nd in command for a long time.. He will not let linux go down.
But even that said, forks are the best thing to come from open Source.. anyone can fork Linus' last kernel and start receiving commits. That's what would happen if these lefties tried something stupid.
As is, Linux is safe for the time being.
