Obama appointed Sally Jewell a month or two before IBM bought SoftLayer tech in 2013 and a further month or two before the Department of Interior signed a contract with SoftLayer Tech.

 

She is now serving as Resident Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's Institute of Politics
