Gimp Tutorial 1 (Start Simple)
1 : Scale the Image to a reasonable size, 1024 wide is usually good. Just hit enter once you type 1024 and it will auto-fill the height for you.
2 : Add text and then outline the text.
3: Add a drop shadow.
4: Export/Save the file.
