Actor Paul John Vasquez, who appeared on "Sons of Anarchy" and "ER," was found dead of an apparent heart attack at his father's home in San Jose on Monday. He was 48 years old.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of death.

Vasquez grew up in San Jose, and moved to Los Angeles as an adult to pursue acting. He appeared on a number of popular television shows throughout his career, including "CSI," "How I Met Your Mother," "ER" and "Sons of Anarchy," in which he played Angel Ganz.

Actor Paul John Vasquez, who appeared on "Sons of Anarchy" and "ER," was found dead of an apparent heart attack at his father's home in San Jose on Monday. He was 48 years old.

EW has confirmed that FX’s much-anticipated spinoff of 'Sons of Anarchy' that will focus on the Mayans motorcycle club will be re-shot and that some of the cast members will be replaced.

As Deadline reports, he was due to appear in two projects he wrote, "Thug Alley" and "Spody Gets His Gunz," as well as an upcoming action thriller called "Lone Wolf."

"This news has come as a surprise to us," Vasquez's representative told People. "Our hearts are heavy. He was a kind, creative and loving man. He will be missed."
