That's a great speech; and perhaps it would not be out of place to apply it to the current circumstance based on the similarities of the tactics described to those being used by the Deep State. However. if we are to hold to the higher standard of TRUTH, then it should be known that this speech was specifically aimed at Soviet Russia and the tactics they employed during the cold war. All of that is plain to see once one reads the entire speech. So if we are to use this speech as an inspiration for our current conflict with the "monolithic and ruthless conspiracy" of the Deep State, let us use it knowing its true historical context.
