Theory:

Maybe everyone on the judiciary committee gets on board with delaying one more week to conduct Flake's time-boxed and scope boxed investigation. (There's still plenty of time before midterms, and Kav need not be confirmed by 10/1)

Maybe the FBI team is comprised of patriots.

Maybe the Dems complain that the investigation was politicized (because they couldn't appoint their own controlled staff - thank you Mr. Wray)

Maybe then (in defense of course) the FBI releases tons of proof of all the investigations that the DeepState CAUSED to be politicized over the decades. But it proves that Kav's investigation wasn't.
