Depending on the jurisdiction, and the scope of work to be performed, they would have had 6 months to 12 months to complete the job. And since it included the "envelope" of the home, it would have required a final inspection to be performed.

 

The permit is either closed out or outstanding (not closed out) (meaning the final inspection is still not completed.
